Help With Printing:

Every single web page here at Quotes.Watchtower.ca is PRINTER FRIENDLY!

Normally our web pages include a great deal of information, including the various boxes at the left, the menu navigation bar at the top, the site logo at the top of the page, etc.

You probably neither want nor need this information when you print. A "stripped down" web page removes all this unnecessary clutter, making it suitable for printing.

Thanks to a web technology called "Cascading Style Sheets" (or "CSS" for short), every page on our site is automatically printer friendly. Simply print the page, and you automatically get the "stripped down" version, with only the quotes, and without anything else.

Don't take our word for it: see for yourself. Use your web browser's "Print Preview" feature to see what any page will look like when printed. From the menu in your web browser, select File then Print Preview...

Note: The CSS printer friendly pages feature does not work if you have a very old web browser. If this is your situation, we suggest you upgrade your web browser, and highly recommend the FireFox web browser.

Tips Regarding Emphasized Text

The manner in which emphasized text is printed depends on how you have selected the "Page Setup Options" in your web browser; specfically the "Print Background Colors & Images" setting.

If you have disabled "Print Background Colors" then the emphasized text will be printed as bold and underlined. But if you have enabled "Print Background Colors" then the print appearance will look more like the on screen appearance: bold text with yellow highlight.

To change this setting:

Mozilla & Firefox: File --> Page Setup --> Print Background (colors and images)

Internet Explorer: Tools --> Internet Options --> Advanced --> Printing --> Print Background Colors and Images
